Andrea Drummer

Chef

Andrea Drummer is a culinary trailblazer redefining the modern dining experience through the powerful intersection of food and cannabis. As the Executive Chef and co-founder of West Hollywood’s Original Cannabis Café—the first legal cannabis restaurant in the United States, Andrea has helped shape a new era of hospitality, where elevated flavors meet elevated states.

Born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Andrea’s journey began in a very different space: working as a youth advocate and anti-drug counselor. But after relocating to Los Angeles and attending Le Cordon Bleu, she discovered her true passion, crafting unforgettable, healing experiences through cuisine. What started as a private dining endeavor grew into Elevation VIP, a catering company celebrated for pairing THC and CBD with gourmet dishes. She’s since curated infused menus for celebrities including Wiz Khalifa, Miguel, and Chelsea Handler.

Andrea’s signature approach blends Southern flavors, French technique, and cannabis science, balancing terpenes, textures, and aromas with unmatched precision. Her work has been featured in Forbes, Vogue, The LA Times, Food & Wine, and The Wall Street Journal, among others. She’s also appeared on Netflix’s Chelsea Does! and Cooking on High, bringing cannabis cuisine to millions around the world.

In 2019, she collaborated with The James NoMad Hotel in NYC to develop one of the first CBD-infused room service menus in hospitality history. She’s spoken on national stages at SXSW, ComplexCon, and numerous wellness panels, always championing education, equity, and access in the cannabis space.
